Our Story

Founded by Sean Kernan in 2024, Wikurio Creations is an educational toy and puzzle company. Sean is a designer, engineer, artist and entrepreneur. Helius came from Sean's insatiable curiosity for form and exploration. He loves making things, and his industrial engineering background allows him to make at a different scale than your typical Maker. He hopes your inner curiosity runs wild when you engage with Helius. It's designed for kids, but it's fun for everyone!

Helius isn't your typical puzzle. It's got some of that fidget fun that is so popular these days mixed with a ton of built-in discovery. The magic of magnets and the patent pending shape of the Helius nodes create an infinite number of possible solutions, or what Sean refers to as "stable configurations." This shape was created while exploring the shapes of the double helix and the mobius strip, two mathematical concepts that have inspired Sean for years. Also, Helius is deeply inspired by organic chemistry, believe it or not.
